I don't recall the last time I gave full marks to anyone, but I didn't hesitate to do so for Modern Mint Events.
Our wedding was what we wished it would be, and Sahar played a big part in bringing that wish to reality. The reception featured few live performances and video presentations. Everything was scheduled in detail; in addition to usual wedding celebration formalities, there were a lot of simultaneous cues for lighting, videos, audio and performances. We didn't have a MC to cover possible delays if something went wrong, so it was crucial to have a capable and professional planner supervise everything. We contacted few planners but none of them gave us the "she is the one" feeling like Sahar did.
We expected a "day-of-coordinator", but Sahar went beyond that. She got involved a month in advance and she made sure every detail was taken care of. She gave us deadlines to get things done. She was very responsive and a step ahead of us, and guided us through the stressful last couple of weeks.
Due to my profession, I usually notice flaws in various events that general public might not notice at all. Sahar and her assistant managed every detail precisely while being calm, confident, yet friendly; I genuinely feel there weren't any flaws. Everyone including hotel staff, production team, florist and decorator were fond of them. The following is a quote of an email I got from one of our vendors: "Your wedding was a great success due to your very detailed plans, and I have to hand it to Sahar as well. I have never seen a wedding planner care so much about an event before. She was all over us and the rest of the hotel to ensure your wedding went great!"

My husband and I met with several planners before we made our choice for a planner. Words can't describe how incredibly happy we are with the choice of wedding planners we made for our big day.
I worked with Sahar mainly. She was not only responsive, professional and resourceful when dealing with my concerns, she went above and beyond her duties to even deal with our parents concerns as well. Our wedding was a mixed cultural wedding with a lot of non-traditional details that Sahar and her team were able to bring to life. All her vendor recommendations were AMAZING! From my flowers to the celebrant she recommended - everything was PERFECT!
On our wedding day everything went as planned and scheduled. The day was even more perfect that I EVER imagined.
Theres only two things Im sad about, 1) that our wedding has come and gone and 2) that I won't have an excuse to work with Sahar and the ModernMint team again.

Everyone would ask me why I didn't seem stressed and that was because I knew I had an amazing wedding planner to handle any issues that's needed to be addressed. Sahar has helped us plan a perfect wedding even though we live in France and couldn't ways be around she worked with us and everything was perfect. All of our guest said it was the best wedding they have ever seen! And Sahar had a huge part in making it magical.
They helped us plan every step of the way. Coordinated all our vendors for an outdoor, weekend long, mixed religion/culture ceremony. Plan decor, kept problems at bay, trouble shooting, contract reviewing/negotiating. Day of (actually day before!) set up, take down, and kept a smile on their faces the whole time. Helped us prioritize, cheered us on while we tackled A LOT of DIY's, communicated at all hours, and kept us on budget. They kept us relaxed, calm, catered to our families. Even now, they're helping us organize postnuptial details!
The entire wedding weekend was such a blast. Stress free, fun, exciting, and full of love. They kept everyone on time, happy, fed, and taken care of. Rehearsal, pool party, catered BBQ, lawn games, great music, tasty food, performances, a lot of laughs. It's because you both worked so hard behind the scenes! (If things went wrong, I didn't know--which was perfect!) Our families and guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about our wedding weekend, and our planners.
It's indescribable the amount of dedication they put into our special day. Their guidance, support, genuine and caring personalities made the process a breeze. I've heard wedding planning can be overwhelming, stressful, chaotic...but not with these two. Sahar and Daniela ensured we had a great experience not only on our big day, but the entire time leading up to it. Honestly, they made it easy. I can't say enough about them. They're more than planners...they took care of everything. At the same time checking in to ensure everything was exactly how we wanted it, even when we didn't know ourselves!
If I could get married to my husband all over again, the first thing I would do, is hire these two capable, caring, women again. Thank you so much for allowing us to be guests at our own wedding. For taking care of everything and of us. It was genuinely better than I ever could have imagined. We're going to miss you guys!

Without Sahar and Daniela, we would not have been able to successfully plan a destination wedding due to our hectic schedules! I'm not even sure where to start! Sahar made the entire wedding planning experience and wedding day so easy and enjoyable for both of us. We were so indecisive about a venue, and she took charge and got us our dream location. She has incredible taste, and I learned early on if I just let her take the reins on everything I would thrilled, and I certainly was! It was money well spent. She even took care of getting our canvas print done for our guestbook, keeping people in line during the wedding itself, and answered my endless questions about anything wedding. Her response time is amazing, which is actually how I ended up meeting her in the first place - she was the first wedding planner to get back to me to set up a consultation and I loved her immediately. Originally we were looking for day of coordination but once I met her and saw how organized and detailed she was, we booked the full meal deal! Daniela was there to assist with our final details and be there on the day of and I didn't spend as much time with her as I did Sahar but she was incredible and they make an amazing team. I will be recommending her to every future bride I ever meet, as well as hopefully using her again in the future for other events! I can't put into words how much she did for us and how wonderful of a person she is!

Planning a wedding from out of province was stressful and difficult. From the moment I had spoken to Sahar on the phone, I knew right then that I wanted her to be my wedding planner. She had a certain demeanor that will make you feel comfortable. Even though I had only hired her as a day coordinator, for the many months that I was planning, she responded to my emails immediately most especially towards the last week when all the anxiety and stress was building up. I love that she was always open to my ideas, and was honest to tell me if something wouldn't work. She was also very flexible to my request of some changes to our reception itinerary (the night before and the day of the wedding) and made it happen! Sahar and Daniela collaborated well with my vendors and made sure everyone was on the right page. I believe that our wedding was a huge success due to these two. All our guests complimented on how our wedding was very well organized and put together and how kind and professional they were. Two couples even told me that they offered to watch their toddlers so they can get on the dance floor and enjoy! During the wedding, they approached my husband and I many times to ask if we were ok. These two girls went way beyond their job descriptions, and I have gained more respect for planners like them in this field because their job is definitely not easy! For every encounter and conversation with them, I felt like they treated my husband and I more like friends, rather than their clients. They are so dedicated, passionate and love what they do. I'm sure that they have done hundreds of events and weddings, but you can feel it is not just a business but rather they really care to make every couple feel special as if they are planning a wedding for the very first time. If you want to take away all the worries, the stress, and most of all, feel like someone actually cares about your most important day, I will definitely recommend Modern Mint Events to anyone in a heartbeat.
Sahar was amazing from the moment we first emailed her for a free consultation. She is attentive and really just puts your needs first! Initially we asked her for help only with designing and securing vendors within our budget, and she emailed us back with recommended vendor options as she didn't want to dip into our decor budget with her service fee! However, we were convinced that her expertise in the wedding industry and her passion with wedding planning was well worth it-we are so grateful that we listened to all of her advice (including having day-of coordination). Our wedding was everything we imagined it would be and we really couldnt have pulled it off without her! If you're debating whether or not you should include a wedding co-ordinator in your wedding budget, we say definitely do it, and definitely do it with Sahar at Modern Mint!!! It made all the difference and really allowed us to enjoy our wedding day.

We hired Sahar Sarband for coordination of our wedding day. It was one of the best decisions we made of all the decisions involved for our wedding. We did a lot of research and planning ourselves to choose the vendors and plan the day. It became apparent that all of our planning might be significantly compromised if we did not have a coordinator on the wedding day. It would be trying to host your own party while also being the main event. Knowing Sahar would take care of every detail made it SO much less stressful.
Sahar is beyond exceptional in her professionalism, work ethic, attention to detail, thoroughness, reliability, and communication skills. Although we only hired her for wedding day coordination, she provided so much more. She gave suggestions if we asked regarding different vendors she recommended. She met with us one month before and communicated with us throughout that last month regarding so many final details. Any details that we needed to happen on the wedding day we only had to send to her and we knew she'd get it done. She was always, always friendly, warm, supportive, encouraging and helpful. This is so important when the stress of the approaching day builds! We loved working with her.

Sahar from Modern Mint was absolutely amazing. Hiring her services was one of the best decisions of the entire wedding planning process. Sahar knew exactly what she was doing, she was very professional and offered her expertise and advice. She was always in control and planned the day out perfectly. She already knew all of the other vendors which was super helpful. My husband Sander and I thoroughly enjoyed our wedding day (not a lot of couples can say that, but we really did and that's because we had Sahar's help).
Sahar was a Planning wizard. We planned our wedding from California, so we needed someone who would support us a lot, and Sahar executed the most incredible wedding I could have ever imagined. My Husband and I were blown away with everything on the day of (decor is her specialty!) and could not have been happier. Leading up to the day she kept us informed, was responsive to everything, and on top of everything. Her vendors were amazing (considering we had no idea where to start with them, she picked them perfectly). The best part was when my husband and I wanted to control details she let us, but stepped in when we didn't have time/want to plan aspects. Day of planning was fantastic too, she was on top of everything and it went smoothly! I know it's so hard to choose a Planner from reviews and it's hard to imagine what you will need on the day of, but Sahar is your woman. She supports you and guides you to your perfect wedding day, perfectly executing your wedding vision!

Sahar was our principle planner, and she was incredible! I had a bit of an unusual situation, and ended up being in a different city for about 3 months immediately before the wedding for work (I arrived back in the city one day before my wedding!), and Sahar made sure that everything was taken care of. She had everything managed perfectly, and my wedding day was stress-free and beautiful! Both Sahar & Daniela were there on the wedding day, and were so attentive and professional. My family and guests were so impressed, and i wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs a planner!
